Matilda

For a while now I have been in love with mosaic patterns.
If you combine a solid colour yarn with a self striping yarn the effect is tremendous. My intention was to create a mosaic or slip stitch pattern that is suitable for a scarf – giving you a scarf which looks alike on both sides, using only one colour per row and displaying the brightness of the yarns.

The mosaic pattern this scarf uses is easy to knit –  just give it a try.

Matilda has been published in Magknits January 2006 issue. Klick here to get there.

How it works:

Each pattern has at least three full-color pictures of the finished project, is written with minimal abbreviations, includes d measurements and is formatted for A4 and will of course print on other formats.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view the PDF pattern. To get a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader for free just click here.
