Bert – bow tie scarf
This pattern is dedicated to my grandmother Mimi.
When I was a little girl, my grandmother “Mimi” (who taught me to knit) knitted dozens of her so called “bow tie scarves”. Till today I just love them.
There is no tying, no big knot underneath your chin while wearing it, no loose hanging ends to disturb you – just great even if you have grown up in the meanwhile.
In this pattern you will find the original pattern as taught by my grandma and two new versions I worked out over the years.
You will get patterns for 3 Berts – one in Kurt Hesse Llama Fine (any worsted weight yarn will do), one in Noro SilkGarden (1 ball!) and one in Lana Grossa Cashmere+.
You should know how to cast on, bind off, knit, purl, increase and decrease.
Would you like to buy the pattern in German? Möchten Sie die Anleitung auf deutsch? Schicken Sie mir ein Mail.
